Therefore, it makes sense for them to pay earlier, because by doing so they avoid a rise in collection fee. The system achieves multiple goals at once: first of all, debtors is given the opportunity to limit their ‘damage’ by paying early. Secondly, you as a creditor will receive your money on a much shorter term, and finally, the system helps avoiding having to file a court case, which saves you a lot of hassle.
